Festivities of the Rosary

They are currently celebrated on the first Sunday of October and are eminently religious festivities. In the past, capeas were held in the Plaza, which was closed with carts and planks tied with ropes.

From 1976 the most important celebrations were moved to the feast of Santiago, because of the good weather and because the emigrants returned to the village. At dawn, the Rosary of the Aurora is prayed and in the afternoon the
the procession with the Virgin of the Rosary.

At the end of the event, the Consistory invites the neighbors to a lamb stew, dances and an auction of sweets and
desserts made by the Housewives Association. In recent years, it has become a tradition to have a
brotherhood in the grounds of the municipal pool accompanied by music, games, etc..
