MOUNTAINS AND VALLEYS
A labyrinth of high altitude mountains, the population is located at 773 meters. All the valleys converge sooner or later in the Garciaz River, which acts as a funnel. There are a large number of bridges, many of old factory.

ON THE ROAD TO GUADALUPE
The Ways of Guadalupe are the historical pilgrimage routes to Guadalupe. Guadeloupe as an important pilgrimage center attracted from its beginnings a multitude of people from different parts of Spain and Portugal. Garciaz is located on the Path of the Discoverers: Cáceres – Trujillo – Guadalupe.
Your idea of Extremadura changes radically when you arrive in Garciaz. Nothing of what you imagined is worth among the endless mountain gorges in our path. A complex system of valleys directs its waters to the north, searching for the Tagus River.

Stories of shepherds and warriors
The human presence in these areas has been proven since ancient times, with details of great relevance that are a reference in the history, not only of Extremadura.
